The Columbia River Transboundary Water and Ethics Symposium is a major international event bringing together tribal, state, and federal leaders to discuss critical water governance challenges across the U.S.-Canada border. BosonHub has had the privilege of managing the virtual components of this symposium in both 2023 and 2024, each requiring distinct technical solutions to accommodate the evolving needs of participants and organizers.
In 2023, we implemented a custom virtual event platform designed for seamless interaction, featuring live-streamed panels, breakout discussions, and document sharing. For 2024, we adapted our approach based new requirements, enhancing accessibility and interactivity with a different technical setup tailored to this year’s engagement goals. The complexity of working with multiple governing bodies required precise coordination, ensuring smooth execution for a diverse audience. BosonHub’s expertise in virtual events, digital integration, and multi-stakeholder collaboration helped facilitate a successful symposium both years, strengthening dialogue on environmental stewardship across borders.
